Not vacuum issue what next heater issue

I am trying to get my heater to work.(85 CA 300sd) I was sure that I had a vacuum issue because the car shifts really hard.
I got in there today and got to the solenoids from the ACC. Pulled vac on each pot it my new mighty vac but all held vac. I then pulled them all down from the main supply line. All held vac. It dropped switching the ACC(only defrost), but always pumped back up.
I then pulgged into the unit and stratred the car. The car is deveoping 20 mm-hg at the solenoids. So that seems to be working. I still only have defrost. Is the car pulling eneough and I have 2 sepperate issues?

How do I check the electrical connectors on the bottom of the solenoids? What voltage, and what is ground.
Also they are labeled 1 to 5. How does that corespond to the push buttons? Is defrost 1 or 5?
Thanks

I know the 123 has vacuum switchover valves in the climate control. I do not know about the 126. If it does, then it could be one of those switchover valves locked up.

Does the 126 have a monovalve and does it default to defrost once the monovalve fails?

What is a monovalve?

The 126 has an ACC that has electric output, this feeds to a solenoid bank that handles the vacuum.
So on the solenoid there is a plug on one end from the ACC, There is a input and an output for the vac. So I am assuming that each onw controls a door in the heating system. I just do not know where each goes, and why there would be no action, other than defrost, or off.
I am new and still learning about this type of car. Been fun so far, and you guys are great!

Thanks,
Doug
