Had my injectors cleaned and flow matched

I had a skipping/smoking issue so I had my injectors flow matched and cleaned. Number four was weak and the others were on point. they replaced the tip on four and popped it to match. My question is I've flushed the fuel system and replaced all the filters. Is there anything else specific to Mercedes Benz that I should do prior to installing these?

Thanks,
WG

Screw them in and torque to spec, you should be good to go.

Don't forget to make sure your new return lines are on the nipples tight, if not you will have a mess.

I assume that you went to a Fuel Injection Shop.....I generally recommend that folks ask to watch, and to check out the calibration equipment.....so.....didja, huh.....

Well I haven't installed them yet but the bill has arrived. $210.00 for one new tip and flow matching all four. Does that sound about right?

Seems high to me.

I paid $105 plus shipping for mine(all five),
new bosch nozzels and balanced.
I shipped them here:
http://www.coloradobiodiesel.com/injectors/index.html
Tom knows his stuff because he owns a w123 himself
and he is easy to deal with.

100 Bucks seems like a bargain compared to the $325 he has listed on his site

That's because $325 is for 5 new nozzles and the labor to plate and pressure balance. You get what you pay for.
