anyone willing to comment on cetane boost

Walmart has CETANE BOOST additive. The product label says add to every fill-up and boost power and clean injectors. Is this another voodoo oil

Name of the product?

If it's power service, it's good stuff.

If you are talking about the power service stuff in the white and grey bottle, its a legitimate product. I try to use it whenever I can. My car is a lot peppier and smoother running w/ that stuff.

If your talking about the Diesel Kleen by Power Service, it has been discussed at length here. Mixed feed-back, but a lot of positive reviews. Do a search under "Power Service" or "Diesel Kleen" and I'm sure you'll find a few threads. Here's just one of the many that popped up for me: power service additive. .

I use it all the time with my WVO blend

Yes it is the power service I have. I will read the info you suggest.
I just now read the site you recommended. I should have been using this product consistently. Until last fall (05) I was. Since then I have replaced all glow plugs (4 had failed), I've had rough startup with white smoke, and now a leaking IP at delivery valve. The del.valve leak requires Oring replacement. All this is an indicator of fuel problems, as described risks, of the new fuel.
So, do we just continue to use additives or are there replacement rings and gaskets that are designed for the new fuels??
