Diesel Meet - Northern VA (Herndon, VA).....12/9/06
Anyone up for a diesel meet on 12/9/06 (11AM)?
I have a great location in mind: 13921 Park Center Road Herndon, VA 20171 Right off McClearn Road (which is off Sully Road (Rte 28). Lots of room available to show off our cars  Let me know who can make it!!

Thanks John. The wife just informed me that she has volunteered that day, so I can't make it. She really does have a heart of gold.
Update: I may be in after all.. I'll let you know later. Heck, I won't need a jump, I'll just leave it idle...

Barring anything unforseen, I'm in. Actually, Herndon is where I recently purchased my 240D. Perhaps while I'm there, I might drop in on the former owners, to show them what I've done with their old diesel.
(On the other hand maybe not, as the wife was pretty unhappy to see it go so cheap!) Happy Motoring, Mark

I would be in, but....
... my 76 115 300D won't start for me. I also can't imagine the terror of driving her on 66. I'd have to pick an on-ramp with a really long down-hill slope.
 Even though I can't make it, thought I'd post to let you gauge the interest.

Come a couple few hours south. 6 hours is a bit to drive otherwise I would be in. See little love for the MB's down where I live right now though I see quite a bit in Raliegh. Hopefully in the future. Just thought I would say hey as I'm new to the area, and I love the GTG's.

I'm not in charge of this thing, but diesel fans turn down nobody. I plan on bringing my 300TD to a dyno event for big trucks one day when I finish my Cummins project
 . I'm going to dyno all 90 horses People who love diesel love all diesel.

They even let me bring 'Miss Daisy', my gas 1960 Fintail to a diesel meet in Richmond a few years ago.
