PLEASE tell me if you don't want the euro lights, I have both 81-85 and 86-91 styles I can send you in return
Use the Russian EPC site to cross reference part numbers. This will at least give you an idea if parts will fit or not. My guess is that the W123 pedal cluster will not fit just like Johnhef said. Hopefully the W126 sedan and coupe pedal assemblies are the same.

I recently read a post from a new member from Philly who has a W126 with a diesel and a manual tranny. He bought the car as is but could maybe shed some insight by taking some photos for you.

I know the 603 engine has it's drawbacks, but that is what I would be looking for too. The potential for greater horsepower is better with the 603 than the 617. You will have the slowest SEC in the US or maybe the world.

Yes there is a difference between the W123 and W126 brake pedal, but It will fit, in the W123 there are 4 bolts that bolt the pedals to the firewall, in a W126 there are the same 4 bolts but there is an additional support brace.

once I have the brake pedal pullled from the SEC on thursday night I will know for sure. Im betting that with little to no modifications it will fit perfectly, But if someone has actually tried this and found that it wont work please post, otherwise we will wait and see.

You can cal the speedo with a ratio box on the cable. That will correct both the speedo and the odo, not just the speedo like a new face would.

this is such a great project. that 2.47 matched to the 4spd is going to be unreal..

i wouldnt use a 247 rear with the four speed.

taking off will be like taking off in second gear. you will be able to do it but will tire of it soon and your clutch wont last long.

i would recommend the 346 gear as in a 300d na.

walgamuth is right.. used to the 2.47 with my automatic and forget the overall ratio differences between the manual..
think Krautmister just matched a 3.08 with a 4spd 617 and had very good results overall.. especially cruise.
