Now if it was made by a more reputable company and pulled from the center, like the Klann, it would be worth consideration.

This one had a 1-1/8" shaft. Having used many hydraulic rams in my years as an industrial mechanic and manufacturing plant engineer, and seeing the immense amount of load they are able to handle, I would have no hesitation whatsoever using a proper version of this to remove any kind of spring.

This one, unfortunately, may have durability issues. More importantly, it won't fit.
