Help!!! stuck injectors on a 603
 

I want to pull my injectors. I have a 4ft breaker on them and I'm afraid I'll brake something. I sprayed WD-40 around them and let soak for a couple of hours. Now I'm putting so much pressure on breaker bar something should give. I'm just afraid of what it might be.
This started out as replacing delivery valve O-rings. I figured while I'm here.:cool: I don't want to end up saying I should have left well enough alone. :confused:
Any suggestions on how to release the injectors.

first be sure you are FIRMLY seated against the injectors.
then with good tension on the breaker bar (aptly named tool...) tap the hinge end with a mallet or small ball peen hammer.
and when you reassemble, liberally apply antisieze to the threads of the injectors.

I just saw the other 300SDL injector post. This is a coincidence it seems to be the same problem but different people.

When you say tap at hinge, do you mean down to seat the socket? If this is what you mean. I can't beacause the interior of the socket would damage the supply and return nipple on the top of the injector.
Is there some better lubricant to use overnite.

TRy using PB Blaster instead of WD 40, PB ususally does a much better job at dissolving rust that WD 40.:)

Thanks for the advice. I just returned from the parts store. They reccomended FreeAll. They said it worked better than PB and it was relatively new with great success. I'll find out soon enough. I applied one coat already and # 2 coming up. If it works well I'll let you know.
