85 300sd ATF in power steering

I just wanted to make sure that it is ok to use ATF for an 85 300SD's power steering resivour. I did this on my 240d. Is it different for a 300sd? thanks

You're good. I know dextron/mercon is fine. As cheap as it is though, it won't hurt to flush by running a couple times. The filters are cheap as well.
