Almost $7 a quart here. I wouldn't mind it but if you just change the fluid in the pan it's not all Mobil 1 when you are done. What is it like 30% ??
I just added a quart of regular fluid and its shifting fine. The car is really polished compaired to the 82 300TD. It's almost hard to tell its a diesel as far as I'm concerned. The ride in mine is perfect. Really is a nice car. Makes me nervous that its the only year, but I like the fact that its rare.
Tonight I'm keeping it. Tune in tomorrow when its listed on Ebay

Getting ready to sell.

My shifting is much better now after unplugging these vacuum lines (notice the ends of the golf T's stuck in the rubber connector, and the lines hanging in the wind) and reconnecting like it came from the factory. Not sure why someone would do this, but I'd imagine the wastegate is working the way it should. All I know is between this and the rebuilt injectors this car is running and shifting much better now. Going to repair the rust around the jack points and give it an overall cleaning before putting on Ebay. My credit card is to high and I've got to many cars. This one is going to hurt as it is such a sweet ride, but its an expensive car in the long run which is why I'm running the 240D.
