Welcome
to the site, and welcome to "The Evil Climate Control Servo". Do a search on "servo" and sit back and read for most of the day. As you search generates questions, come back and ask. If you have deep pockets, this will be no problem. If you're like most of us, read for fixes for the heat portion for the time being, and start to look for a good servo or replacement.

Your heat an AC are contolled electronically and by engine pump vacuum. I would start with checking out your vacuum system and make sure the doors that switch between defrost heat and dash vents open and close properly. your blend door could be stuck which is a vacuum problem (mechanical problem) or your electronic temp control is not operating. (electronic problem)
Your heater control valve could be non operational and your AC system could need a recharge! I know all this is a little complicated, but it's hard to know where to start with the info you gave us! A  little more detail please?
