Where are the parts yards in the area? Someone told me down in the S. part of town down around Beltway 8...

Anyone confirm? I'd rather not just start driving aimlessly about.

The only MB one I know of is on N Shepherd near W Parker - just south of I-45 on N Shepherd. They have a pile of MBs - it's a fun place to just wander around.

I was at the north Pick A Part (Drennan St. - I think) a few weeks ago and they had two 300D turbodiesels sitting right next to each other.

I just scored my '83 this past weekend to replace my dead TDI so you might see me there scavanging for parts.

The pick a part is directly next to Houston Biodiesel. You cant miss it, its at the end of the street. Theres one out in Tomball, but Ive been told that the MBs are from total loss car wrecks and are pretty mangled. One on Calavander (i think thats the road). Its a freaking 10.00 admission charge to go in, but i did see 2 MBs through the fence. Just couldnt tell if they were diesels or not. Anyone else know of any i would love to know, i need a front fender.

The only one that I know of is Milton Motors which is on N. Shepherd between W. Montgomery Rd. and Parker Rd.

Just to clarify my previous post, the Pick A Part by Houston Biodiesel has been closed for years. However, the one at Wallisville Rd (east Houston) and the north location are still open. The noth location is where I saw the two 300 turbodiesels.

I stopped in this place last month. The guy told me they had shipped all 123's to Paraguay! I did see some 126's and wondered why they were still around.

i know this is an old thread, but i just called looking for a hood and a passenger fender, and they told me they still had a few 123's out there.
Anyone around houston have a hood pretty cheap?

I am also in the market for a hood and a front windshield/sun visors...but my baby is mercedes sky blue w/blue MB tex ....I need lotza little ****..chrome ignition ring/some switches etc...Any ideas...PM me!!!!

well, the guy on the phone today could fully understand me asking if i were able to go into the yard and pull my own parts. he said "i dont understand what youre asking". go figure. i would want to be able to pick the best of the hoods/fenders and hopefully have them match as close as possible so i dont have a calico car. he did say that they had plenty.
