A salesman at the dealer signed my form with no hassle and without seeing the car. I was going for the 500K badge, which they sent, but they sent me a 250K badge as well and an overly extravagant certificate attesting to the mileage "milestones".

The mileage is for the car, they just want to know how many you have put on it personally. I'm hoping to make it to a million soon so they can offer me a spot in a commercial and a new E320 Bluetec !

yeah, all I had to do was get my employer, who also happens to be the guy who sold me the car, to sign it. I entered the mileage and that was all.

you could probably get your mother to sign it and it would pass....

as for getting anything other than a badge at 1,000,000KM I HIGHLY doubt.

Well my badge arrived on last Wednesday, and of course I wasn't here so FedEx didn't leave the package. Instead they left a note that said I could come by their hub on Thursday to pick up the package. So I go on Thursday (15 miles out of my way on the way to work), the clerk tells me the package isn't there because the driver is going to try and deliver it again today.

"Oh that's weird" I say, "because they wrote on the slip that I could pick it up today".

"Well, he must've meant to write that you could pick it up tonight", says the clerk.

So I tell her to please hold onto the package when it arrives back at the hub and I will pick it up later. Well then the crazy ice storm hits and I didn't make it out of the house until today (the following Wednesday from when FedEx initially tried to deliver the package). So, on the way home from work today I drove 15 miles out of my way to pick up the package.

"Oh, you're too late sir, that package has already been sent back to the sender", says the clerk.

Guess when they sent it back? Today.

Awesome, thanks FedEx for being so great.

Hmmm. I should send in the paperwork that has been in my glove box for months.

LOL, I've been meaning to send mine in since 250K km, now I'm well past 500K km, maybe I'll get around to it before I hit 750K km.

Well I got off my lazy bum and sent it in. I'm only a few K away from my second badge though.
