Thoughts on a E320 Diesel

My parents are looking at a 2006 E320 Diesel..... What are common problems? what is the good/bad? I have read reviews and reports but I want to hear "from the horses mouth"..... Thanks again......

I think it is a little too soon to know.

Occasionally someone with from Europe with a E200, E280 or E300 CDI will post with a problem but these are not common posts.

I suspect most mechanical issues will be similar to the OM606 in the 95-99 E300's, that being fuel/air leaks due to deterioation of o-ring seals in the fuel lines.

Who knows what electronic glitchs they will have? Ought to be similar to the W211 E350 gassers.
