For 06 and older models, yes. 07+ has a detuned version of the same V6 used in the E, ML, GL and R class vehicles (about 180hp vs 221hp).

I thought it odd when Chrysler reaffirmed its commitment to Cummins before the split became general knowledge. It will probably effect CDI's in Chrysler products. Probably the Grand Cherokee it will be around a few years. I thought Cummins was going to come up with a 50 state legal light truck engine and you could put that in a Grand Cherokee or a variant of it. Drove an ML320 CDI. Put that on the wish list for when its a little cheaper and I have the cash.
