96 E300D injection pump
I have fuel leaking from the top of the injection pump. It is seeping from a couple of the injection outlets where they screw into the pump. It is my understanding that this is fairly common and requires replacement of the o-rings and copper washers. However, Mercedes does not show these parts, only the whole pump, injectors, fuel lines, etc. Any suggestions where I might find the parts? I have googled for bosch injection parts and have had no luck so far. TIA

Here's a response I left on the MBCA board to the identical request:
http://mbca.cartama.net/showthread.php?t=17055 You will need one special tool to remove the splined delivery valves to get at the seals. It is available from the dealers for about $40 (PN 617 589 01 09 00) or online from samstag or others. It is a Hazet socket #4556.

Go to Bosch directly
Find your nearest Bosch service center and give the numbers on the side of your IP to them. They will match the parts for you without hassle. If you dont have one locally, then you can call one and have the parts sent to you. Just search online for the nearest Bosch service center. Forget the dealer.
