Yes, you are just sick enough to be a moderator on this forum. Getting stuff while on vacation is like a scavenger hunt. I never go to Europe without some tools and a trip to a junkyard or two.

I lived in Camden for a year while I went to Camden Military Academy. The schools in Charlotte at the time were to dangerous due to racial violence. There is a Civil War battlefield in Camden if you are into that sort of thing.

Ah Camden has some of the most beautiful historic houses I have seen. I love the entire area down there. Would LOVE to go check out the civil war battlefield.

Small world indeed - I lived in W.Columbia twice - while at USC (the OTHER) and again in the late 90's before heading to the Desert. It's interesting how some of us were in the same area - maybe even passed each other by and now back in the same 'circle'....RETX I just might have heard you play in Columbia!!
Let me know if you're coming through Atlanta - coffee and doughnuts on me!!! Plus I can check with soem of the folk I know here about that exhaust.

Have a safe trip.

AW

double check the weather

I heard the mountains may have a little snow. Double check the weather heading through there. The stretch of I-40 from Asheville to Knoxville it a bit windy.

www.intellicast.com has good localized weather.

Have a safe trip.

Glad to hear you had a safe trip.

On a sidebar, I was born in Detroit at Highland Park Hospital and lived between Evergreen and Lahser and 6 and 7 mile. My dad was a policeman and we had to live in the city. I just went on to Google Earth to see my old house and it is now a vacant lot. Maybe a victim of the Halloween house burnings.
