Anyone test the new SUV ML320 CDI,diesel 3.0 L.Good_______ Or bad_______? what do you think.

Review the ML forum for the vehicle in general.

The CDI is pretty new and does not appear on the Deisel forum often so not much info is available. Will be more as they start comming off warranty in another two years. People with the E320 CDI like the the even turbo boost and power curve the CDI provides.

Questions from European posters (who've had CDI's since 00(?)) indicate CDI mechanical issues will probably be similar to the OM606 (i.e.: air/fuel leaks at fuel system o-ring seals). Too soon to know about engine electronics.

i have no idea about the ML models but the E320cdi 2004-2005 models had NASTY wirring problems....this was even said the head mechanic at mercedes-benz of sacramento on howe ave......he has a e300d him self.
