W123 wiper arms

Just bought these arms on eBay, seller claimed they are for the W123. But they look different from the ones on my car, later models?

No idea. Mine are painted black. Could be the seller stripped them?

The early ones were silver. I don't know when they made the change, but my guess would be 1981. I have some sales literature from 1979. I will have to check it.

My car is a 1978 and got the black arms, they are shaped different from the one I bought and the blade attachment is different. I always liked the chrome arms on the W116, that's why I bought them.

Do they have a part number on them? Maybe you can cross reference on the Russian EPC page.

Of course it is always possible that your 78 arms have been replaced with later arms.

They don't have a number on them or a Mercedes mark.

They could be aftermarket ones.

I don't know if mine are aftermarket or not, but the only markings I could find were L and R which must mean left and right.

Mercedes is usually so good with part numbers. It would be a matter of visual identification without a part number. eBay can be good, but it can also be a PITA. Hope you didn't pay too much.
