I have a 1981 240D. I would like to know how I can remove the glove box door.

Thanks!

I think you need to loosen the door's inside plastic liner. Then you will see that the hinges have a little pin that you need to locate properly to release the hinges.

On the right side where the hinge attaches look for a plastic slotted screw head, it needs to be turned 90 degrees which will release that side then rotate the door in such a way as to release the other side hinge from the slot in the dash. Hope this helps.

Ok. Thanks! I give this a try.
To move the plastic slotted screw head do you just need a screw driver?
