They called the 4 door sedans in Germany "limousines". The Limousine bodies are called "Lang" body W123 cars, they sold them with 240D and 250 gas engines.
Elimination of the first aid box and warning triangle on US bound cars, thank the US DOT for that.

Where did you come up with all of this? I am really curious to find out this sort of thing on my 240, as it looks to have US exterior body features, yet the title says "non USA" and the owners manual is completely in German, it does have the first aid kit, but the rear seat has no headrests, which really intrigues my curiousity...... -Chris 80 240 w 617 engine |
