Question Rear wheel bearings???

Anybody had to do an R & R on rear wheel bearings??? A friend of mine without internet access has a bad wheel bearing on drivers side rear. He says there is a 4 sided nut or something odd that needs to come out to give access to the bearings...I haven't been to see what he's talking about...Any ideas...Haynes book don't show squat on rear bearings...

That's a difficult job. You really need the FSM to do it properly.

I have the tool that you're looking for to remove the nut. It's in the tool rental program. But, please make sure you get all the FSM info. The job is not an easy one.
