Cooling fan relay,switch 80 300 SD

Hi all,,where is the fan relay located?? cant find it in are near the fuse box,,, two switchs in the thermostat housing a vaccume switch (10 mm thread) is this the cooling fan switch?? the other switch goes to the tempature gauge,,,thanks Pat

electric radiator fan relay....

If you are speaking of the aux fan it should be on the driver side fender well under a plastic cover....two relays under there...they call them ice cube relays.....some are 5 pin ...some are 6 pin....If they are just alike...you can swap them for troubleshooting.....

Usually the aux radiator fan shaft bearings run dry which causes high current drain popping fuses and taxing the relay contacts...
