Competition Skeet Shooting...when I'm not doing that I reload shells so I can do it some more. I'm also an Instructor and love teaching kids and women how to shoot shotguns, rifles, or pistols. If it goes bang and goes down range, I like it! I don't hunt because I already know where the deer are, I just make the shot and eat 'em.

Any kinda of fishing or fish eating.

Cooking, indoors or out, and I prefer to cook mass quanities!

What does all this have to do with Mercedes Benz?? Well, I bought my wagon to support all the above. It can hual guns, shells, rods, reels, dutch ovens, and ice chests and does it with style!

Porsche 911s. I want one BAD and plan on selling my Benz to get an old one as soon as I've saved a little more.

I also love playing the guitar. Chet Atkins and Tommy Emmanuel rock!

Not to hijack this thread but see above, my outside obsession is 911s. Looking to sell the diesel for one. How do you like yours? I know '86 was the first year with the updated interior vents for better cooling.

Thumbs up

Aside from autos? Not much, it's my hobby and I make some cash doing it, just to cover some operating expenses.

Diesel School Buses

So here is the one I'm "keeping for now",a 1992 or 1993 Bluebird. There is rust which is the only thing that bugs me, but it runs and shifts perfectly and does 75 mph with the 7.6 liter inline 6 cylinder DT466 and Allison MT643 automatic. Basically a free bus which is the best part. Looks like it may be leaning a little towards the exit door side too.

Actually I came across 6 of them, and 5 had Cummins 5.9's, and this one with the 466. I had a verbal agreement to buy all 6, one at a time. If I had more space I would have just got all 6. Anyways, one of them I pulled the drivetrain and have that. Then I sold 2 on Ebay and I'll keep the 466. They saw what I was making on the buses and pulled out on me selling the last two. Oh well, I did very well. They are a blast to drive, this one has gobs of power. The best part on this one is its all mechanical! To shut it down you pull a rod out on the dash.
