Advice needed - What manufacturer for center bearing?
I need to replace the center bearing on my 300D and I have found numerous options. My local shop has the rubber mount with bearing installed - $33, but the bearing is a NTN Japanese made bearing. I have seen SKF (for pretty reasonable price) and Meyle (more expensive). I have also seen rubber mounts with INA bearings for pretty cheap.
Is it ok to buy the mount with the bearing already installed (I do need to replace both parts) - anyone have some advice on manufacturers? Thanks and Happy New Year! Ryan

You can't go wrong with SKF. Pressing the bearing into the mount is not difficult.

I have used NTN bearings with GOOD results. If you figure how long the old bearing lasted, a new, good quality replacement will last the cars life.
