I've finally decided its time to sell my '87 300DT. I've put miles on it but I've also done a lot of both major and minor things. I believe the car is good and a good buy for someone who wants a car of this sort. The important things are this car has never been in any sort of accident, everything is stock, everything works, and everything is there. I put in a new engine (metric motors), turbo, and trans about 100k ago. A/C is rebuilt and converted to R-134. Radio is replaced with Sony CD player.Radiator is new. Brakes are new. Tires have about 5k on them. Front end has been completely rebuilt. Interior is good. Drivers seat need upholstery but everything else is good. Car is MB Midnight Blue with some paint oxidation. Overall the car has about 380k on it. If anyone is interested I can post pictures. I'm asking $3k or best offer or maybe trade for something interesting? I've bought a new car and my wife has 'laid down the law' that I have too much junk to keep this diesel also. I drove this car every day until last November. It overheated twice. I don't know why and I don't want to do more work myself of put more money into the car. I'm not a collector - I'm a user. I look forward to hearing from anyone who is interested.
