Fuel leak from somewhere

I'm assuming this is a fuel leak. It is not coming from the fuel delivery valves; I replaced the O-rings months ago, so they're new. As high up as I can see (since stuff leaks downward) is at the "STOP" lever where it attaches toward the back. I checked to see if that nut was tight, and it is. I'm not sure it's fuel, but it probably is, just burned from engine heat. It's a black sludgy kind of a look. What d'ya think?

Your picture is pretty small I can see what you are talking about.

If it's black and sludgy I bet it's oil. Wipe it all off and see where it is comming from and that might help you find the source and identify what the liquid is.

This is pretty common if the O-ring is original. Fortunately, it's an easy fix.

Small picture is all we're allowed

Yeah, I know the picture is really small. They only allow us to post 56k or something.

But I think you hit it right on the head. Oil through the stop lever. Guess I'll add that to my list of repairs.

Thanks,

Jeff
