No aux pump?
I have an 87 300TDT and was looking for the aux water pump. As I understand it is behind the passenger headlight. Well I can't find it. It should be noticable. Is there any other locaton it could be? I don't even see mounting holes or brackets there to indicate there ever was one.

aux pump
I couldn't tell you for sure as I am not familiar with the 124's, but it should be easy to find if you follow the heater hoses from the front of the engine to the firewall.

Ive heard for non-veg oil cars its sort of pointless. I use it in mine rewired to run with key on to push coolant all the way to trunk and back. When I pulled mine it was rusted shut but heat worked very quickly without it...

My '87 300TD had no aux water pump. It does have a heat valve, but not a monovalve, to control water flow to the heater.
Unplug the electrical to get full water flow to the heater. |
