1977 240D want start
 

I have a 77 240d that want start. I have no clue where to start. Would like any help i could get. THANKS:)

First start with the glow plugs and the glow plugs system. You probably have one plug out. In that year the plugs are in series so when you loose one you loose the rest down the line, like the old christmas lights.
You need to test the resistance for each plug and make sure that they are functioning properly. You should also check the strip fuse, and make sure it's not burned out too.

Turn the key and tell us what happens.
