Bought a pop tester

I bought a bosch pop tester on ebay today.

When i get it i might consider doing injector cleaning and pop testing for others if there is an interest.

Not sure what to charge yet but i will see how i do on my own set of injectors.

I notice others here say they paid $50 for five injectors cleaned and popped so i will consider that price range.

I have taken apart many VW diesel injectors and cleaned them with good results but i had no way of bench testing them except to install them and run them.

I would also like to find a source for the shims to increase pop pressure for my vegetable oil car and for injector balancing.

Steve

I have a set of 240D injectors in a box, bought them as cores. If you are looking for injectors to practice with I'd be happy to send them. My intentions are to have them cleaned/tested and then replace the nozzles with bozio and install them in my car. Chuck

I paid $70 for testing 6 injectors and one of them was disassembled, cleaned and retested.

That sounds like a fair price but i always disassemble every injector.

How did they run before and after the cleaning?
