I was afraid you were going to say that. Geez, so do you think I should just go ahead and sell it?

I'm in the central time zone. I have to say I really feel like a fish out of water with this.

We'll figure it out..........just may take awhile.

Are you positive of your fuse numbers? Can you read them clearly off the box?

OK, now repeat the tests in post #19 and pay careful attention to the fuse numbers on the box.

Somehow I figured out the meter. I got 12.20 volts at #11 and #13 with low beams and #9, BUT only 2.20 volts at # 8!

If you have voltage at #11 and #13, then the low beams must work unless there is corrosion on the plugs or the headlight filaments are burnt out. There are no other options. Did you replace fuses 11 and 13, just to be absolutely sure that they are not the problem?

If those are the Euro lamps, you can remove the H4 bulb from the back of the unit and easily replace it.

I'm calling it a night........I'll be checking your progress in the morning.

Normally, you press down on the ends of the spring and move them slightly sideways to release the ends from the catches and allow them to open.

Ok new bulb in and still no lights. What to do?
And on top of it all this morning my glow plug light went out! Good thing I bought that multimeter!
Could I have damaged my glow plugs when I had the ignition switch on?

The headlight plug has three prongs. One of them carries 12V for the low beams. One will have 12V for the high beams and one will be ground.

See if you can get any voltage from one of those three sockets with the headlight switch in the low beam position. If you have voltage on fuses 11 and 13, you should have voltage at the plug for the low beams.

Check the opposite headlamp as well.
