If you can give the SDL a 9.5 out of 10,that's excellent! You said the SDL is at a dealer? I wouldn't buy a vehicle unless I could drive it and check it out. Take it for a long drive, check it out and if you like the car offer about 60% of the asking price.[/QUOTE] Thanks for some good advice. He is a used car lot dealer.....Asking 4995. It is worth that the way it looks to me. I've seen SDL's going for 2X that price & they had issues. This has none. except the fuddy duddy color. I may offer him 4,000 and see if I can get it for 4,200. AA

If it's really good it may well be worth it, I used to work for a new car dealership. I know at what unbelieveable rates they take trade ins. It's called "stealing" the trade.
I've seen SDL's for more, but if they really sell, is questionable. The last one I looked at was from a private party. Oh boy that car was so bad...I wouldn't want to have it for free. He was asking 5K After that I gave up on that model. I think you can grind a little better, once you decided on it. When I bought my 95 E320 about 3 months ago, it took me all afternoon to get it for the price I wanted it, and that was only the negotiation part. The next day, I came back to pay and I saw the break down on the computer screen, boy the still made good money on it. In my opinion, I bet he got that SDL on the lot for under 2K.
