Any reason not to buy these tie rods?

My car is seriously needing some minor front end work. Is there any reason NOT to buy these? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MERCEDES-W-123-116-TIE-ROD-300D-450SE-300SD-230-DIESEL_W0QQitemZ8020040054QQihZ019QQcategoryZ33593QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem
Seems pretty nice that they are half the cost of anywhere else, but does that send up red flags?
Thanx

Go for it

When I 1st got my '87 300D, it needed to have the front suspension reworked. Since I was not planning to keep the car for more that 5 years, I decided to buy the coponents for cheap off ebay. I bought new tie rods, ball joints, control are bushings, etc. The parts seemed to work fine and I kept the car for almost 3 years. My .02

Personally I'd not want to cheap out on parts that STEER THE CAR but I guess thats up to you.

Whats cheaper? $40 less on tie rods? Or thousands on needing a new car after you loose control when one breaks and crash?

Medical bills? Insurance? Etc....

Do a search on eBay sellers folks have had difficulty with. I believe importbaron is one of bigbabbo's aliases.

Get something from NAPA, orielly, Auto Zone, etc, that has a lifetime warranty if you need them now. Also check Fastlane if the McPArts turns outto be special order. Phill does not carry unknown junk. Anything steering, suspension or brake related is not a good idea to use a non name or unknown named parts IMHO.
