I have a bunch of Mercedes diesel injection stuff..

I recently aquired it from a friend of mine who rents out a automotive shop and he gave it all to me. Problem is I don't own a mercedes and want your opinion and expertise on what I should do. I got a bunch of different sets of injectors and even brand new nozzles from him. I don't know what year they go on though!
Sets of old injectors:
KCA30S46, KCA27S55, KCE27S3, KCA30S35/4

He also gave me a bunch of nozzle tips:
DNOSD261,DNOSD265, DNOSD310. If i remember some of the 261s are from Germany and some are from France. The 265s are France and the 310s are Germany.

What do you think I should do with them? I don't have the stuff to rebuild injectors and would rather take as little effort as possible while still benefiting. If you have any info on these parts, please feel free to let me know! And heck if you help me out i can give you parts maybe? I might be missing some of the part numbers. HELP!

tdi994me 01-20-2007 05:50 PM

Someone has got to know what these all go to...... HELP!

JackG 01-20-2007 05:53 PM

put them on ebay, list part # and see what happens.
I have done that with stuff that I didn't even know what it was for and sold it for hundreds of dollars

tdi994me 01-20-2007 08:40 PM

Good idea.. I figure if i find out what they are for exactly I could sell them for more. Or if anyone here was intersted they could help me get rid of them. Ebay can be a pain in the butt sometimes

Brian Carlton 01-20-2007 08:48 PM

If I can determine whether one of those nozzle p/n's fit the 617 injectors, I'd certainly be interested in five of them.

WOW......THAT IS A PROBLEM. I didn't catch that the first time:eek: . Ok, here's what you do. Go to a MB shop, have them run the #'s and find out what they fit. Then start looking for that type of car. When you find it, BUY IT. You will also have a great start in that you will already have a collection of spare parts.........Problem solved:D .

Only injection parts though. I don't need another car. Well if anyone knows what they are for and need a set let me know! So far I know the 310 nozzle fits on a 1995 300d, but not sure on what all they will fit. I guess the 261 will replace the 240 and 240/. So if any of you know any more info please let me know. I'll get rid of the nozzle tips for 20 bucks each, as far as i know thats a bargin.

I have three in my stable. Once they get in top shape I have a tendency to buy another.

If you have any injectors/nozzles that'll fit an OM602, I'll gladly take them off your hands.

tdi994me 01-25-2007 05:51 PM

Injectors and nozzles

Whats the part number on the injectors or nozzles? I listed the ones i have for nozzles. The injectors i have are listed too, but i have to go through more to find out if there are any injectors i missed.

The 265's are for most OM602/603 engines. The 310's are for the OM606. Do you still have any of these floating around...?

:o

tankowner 01-25-2008 06:49 PM

I might be interested in some of these. Let me see if I can figure out the part numbers and if there is something there I need, perhaps we can work out a deal. Thanks for posting!

PS. Not only are diesel Mercedes addictive (and I only just bought my first one), but this forum is addictive . . . stick around too long and you'll be turning wrenches and pumping diesel fuel the rest of you life.

tankowner 01-26-2008 01:14 AM

I can help you out . . .

I can get you a list of all the models that these will fit, let me know if you'd like to make a deal as I would be interested in grabbing some for myself - I also sent you private message here. Thanks!

Biglex 01-26-2008 03:36 AM

If you have any for the OM602, please let me know, I am in a BAD need for nozzles, but will take the injectors too if the price is right.

That was my fault. :o I found this thread while searching for certain nozzle numbers, and nobody had answered his original question... but I didn't realize the original posted hadn't logged in for 9 months. Thought he might still be around - guess not.

Funny . . no worries. I actually looked at the dates and never even noticed it was 2007 and not 2008 (mymind hasn't made the switch yet), funny how the dates are perfect though (minus the year). Oh well, at least now I know how to search these PNs to see what they fit.

Diesel911 01-26-2008 11:57 AM

Go to the top of the page click on SEARCH; when the box opens click on advanced search. Search one at a time DNOSD261,DNOSD265, DNOSD310. I believe at the beginning of the week there was a person asking the applicaion for DNO SD 261 nozzles.
Also look on the upper part of the injector bodies and find the 3 digit numer follerd by "bar". Example: 135bar or 115bar. This represents the opening pressure of the injector and gives an idea what engine they were used on.

Off-Been browsing the EPC,seems like MB now sells dn0sd261(om601) nozzle for 1969-year om615`s .Funny....some German folks also use 261,265 nozzles on /8`s or fintails....seem like ANY 60-90ies nozzle fits any 60-90ies KCA inj.holder...
