That is a relisting.

BTW, all your links goto the jerry can.

I clicked the links and went where it was supposed to....

I've seen the jerry can and the steering wheel before but man do i love that roof rack! Too cool. Too expensive too!:(

Cheers,

Bill

I'd love to put that steering wheel on the SD. The larger gaps for fingers near the rim would really be appreciated.

Thanks for posting this! That Jerry Can is a much better solution then the Diesel Purge solution I used when I ran out of fuel! :)

Only slightly more expensive...

What were all the optional items???

What were all the optional (and now rare) items that were made for the 123s? The ones I can think of are:

Emergency triangle for trunk lid (sedan only)
Safari type roof rack (wagon)
Gerry fuel can (I think sedan-specific...meant to nestle in the horizontal spare)
Cross bars for roof rack (wagon)
Third seat (wagon)
Retractable cargo cover and net (wagon)
Mudflaps with MBZ stars (both)

I would love to get that Gerry can and roof rack for my wagon...man, they are nice.

I have lost 3 auctions on the Euro Triangles... I'll get one eventually. The jerry can would be something cool to have. I would like a set of the mudflaps too

Yeah, and I stumbled across one hanging out in a parts yard. :D

Only problem is it will cost you $150 to ship it here.

Nice wheel, pretty rare too.

Not sure if aluminum rims (not the alloy bandits) were an option, but I believe so.

It's only money, you can't take it with you. Just think of it as another "TOY" to die with:D

Yes, alloy rims that look like regular steel rims were available....I saw a set of two almost new recently that sold for $50 for the two, plus shipping, on ebay. I didn't bid, but if it was a set of four, I would have found it hard to resist.

You know the replaceable clips for the regular stainless steel wheel covers...they come in two versions...one all steel, the other with a nylon bushing...the nylon bushing clips were made specifically for the aluminum rims to prevent scratching the rims

Sorry, but IMO that steering wheel is ugly with that red patch shamelessly announcing who it's made by (kinda like a rapper tellin' you who he is). If you gotta announce it...

The cross bars were optional? Heck, even my AMC Eagle had those as standard! My beater 300td has 'em, and it has the third seat too.

bgkast 01-20-2007 11:42 PM

I would like that wheel if it was not red.

I could go for a set of mud flaps too. :D
