w123 instrument schematic - 300d
 

I have a 1978 300d. I'm trying to troubleshoot the instrument cluster. As of right now, I have no instrument lights. I installed a new pot, no joy.:mad:

Using a test light, I found that the green/white wire on the headlight switch is always hot, ignition on or off and headlight switch on or off. This same wire, I think, feeds the green/white wire to the instrument lights. Now I'm not too bright, but I think that this is not good.:confused:

With the instrument cluster plugged in (with the 14 prong plug) I have no instrument lights. :mad:

If I jump off of the green/white on the headlight switch to the prong on the instrument cluster that the green/white wire feeds (marked #13 I think), I have instrument lights.:)

Does anyone have an electrical schematic they can post or send to me?
