well, it's a matter of go thru the entire vaccum system, many times under varying tempurature conditions or just let it be, and repair what's easy.

yeah,I kind of got that.Just cant read peoples minds when they tell you to test something and then results get posted but no follow thru from them.VERY frustrating and not so helpful really.I do understand that it is something probably vacuum related.problem is that I really have already tested and fixed a significant portion of it already.the present problem is so intermittant(4 of 6 shutoffs today were perfect-ie turn key-engine off pronto) that I begin to wonder if it is actually vacuum and not mechanical instead.for instance, the doorlocks-they will hold pressure for over a week in any temp so far.sometimes they are just really slow or not all go up and down at all.I asked before but got no answer-are they a dry system(no lube) or are they wet(lubed).if a wet system then maybe the wrong grease was used by a PO.just did not want to disassemble to find out.thought I would ask those that "know".
I am a bit of a socraticist meaning I like verification not just opinions.that seems to be a problem for this forum.some like yourself (Got_The_Benz;1397682) have been helpful and I thank you.
I am confused about my problem and when it warms I am sure it will go away until next winter.I would like to fix if possible and apparently I must retest ALL the systems that are working(even if erraticly).
probably this will be my last post, and for some that will make them happy and for others who knows.I have not found most of the contributors to this site helpful.just VERY opinionated!and it seems that most do not read and reply to the actual question that was put forth, instead they answer what they THINK the question was.this also is not helpful. the the reference material has been helpful and unless the big brother group decides to boot me,that source I will continue to use.
And now, as I am sure that flaming is coming I will at least wait and read the (if any) responses.

as I figured, not only socially unacceptable, but also gutllessly lacking followthru...
