I saw a pretty decent "83 300SD for sale in Dallas. If anyone is interested, contact Heinz @ 214-734-8411. Asking price is $1500. Cream/Palomino leather, Exterior paint & condition is very good, Interior is very good except the dash has a few cracks from the Texas sun & drivers seat needs the padding refurbished a little. He stated that he is the original owner, drives it nearly daily, but has 3 other cars and just needed to make room. If someone is seriously interested, and doesn't live locally, I would be willing to do a closer inspection and test drive (PM me) as I am in Dallas 3+ days/wk.

I have no financial affiliation with the owner, just happened to hear the familiar purr of a MB diesel pass by and noticed the "for sale" sign in the rear window.

Yes, If I recall correctly, he is the original owner. I spoke with him for about 5 minutes but as he was in a grocery store parking lot, I did not want to detain him too long.
