Interesting (to me) interior in a W126 300SD

I've heard the occasional mention made here on the forum of "velour interior".

Is that what this W126 300SD has? Is that a factory interior?

(At least on my system, the pictures look a little funky as displayed; clicking on the largest picture pops a window with said picture at appropriate size.)

I have never seen that material on any 123/6 before, but it does look nice. I don't like that material, due to static in the winter... but it looks comfortable.

That's the interior that came in the Euro's. My euro 280SE had the same type of interior, only blue.

Yep thats velour, rare factory special order option. Thats the only diesel W126 other than mine that I have seen with it. Someone should buy it, that looks like a nice car and with that interior its almost one of a kind.

Here is a chance to own a one of a kind 300SD, an enthusiast needs to buy it.

Thanks for the information, guys!

Pity that the car is 4+ hours away from me. If it were close enough, I'd go check it out.

That's beautiful. I never seen that before on a 300SD. I'd take it in a heart beat.

My 300SD has the velour interior.......not even close to the same condition though. I have to agree, that is one beautiful car and well worth his asking price.

I'd buy that car if I was closer. That car is a steal if it is as good as it looks with that mileage. I hope somebody here gets it.

Delivery fees, as in anything else in used car sales, are definitely negotiable. Now if they delivered it to my house for that, it would be a bargain. It's just business, if you can get the asking price + delivery fees then you are high cotton.
