I'm pretty sure that Arm 3 is 5th-Rev but the other two have me confused...

Just turn the input shaft and note the difference in tail speed.

Speaking of that, would you be kind enough to post the gear ratios please.

What would a job be without reinstalling the bulk of the parts and then realizing your forgot something on the inside of the transmission so you have to do it all over a 2nd time?

Where do you find all of these 5 spds?! I want one too!

The forward most shift lever will be 4th and 3rd. The middle will be 2nd 1st and the rear 5 th reverse.

That confirms my assumption based on the way the shift rods looked like they should be positoned.

Once again, I stand amazed by this place and the storehouse of knowledge which it represents. Thanks millions.

ok, I need som explanation. I didn't read this thread previously, because to ME the word "getrag" is oozing with pontiac and I felt it had no interest to me. now I see that it's a 5 speed transmission, so thus begging the question...what's this Getrag (couldn't they have thought of a better name?!) being bolted to? like what's the goal here....

There was one available on the forum. Bagain basment price of $1200 plus shipping. I contemplated it for my W115 project but....oh well. it can always be swapped out later.
