123 Oris hitch on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=007&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=170073558286&rd=1,1

I thought this might be a receiver hitch (can't tell conclusively from poor photo), but I believe its a fixed tongue and the other thing that occurred is that it might fit a Euro bumper. Asked the guy about the receiver issue, but he didn't answer, which I take to mean no. Anyway, does anybody have one? With a minimum bid and the $50 shipping charge, might be worth $100, maybe more to that special customer with the right needs, but I don't think its me. Seller got dinged recently for poor packaging.

Has anybody found a receiver hitch for 123 sedans?

Yes there was.

Amazing how fast you can come up with this stuff if you just use "search" at the top of this page. Type in reciever hitch W123 and shortly, (you still have to look around a little) you will find this.

Well,sorry bout that

I can bring up the listing from the oringinal thread, did a copy and paste and it won't bring it up. Well anyway, it is a CURT Hitch, 10 were or are for sale at $132.15 plus I think about $32.00 US shipping. So if you can't bring it up either, the Company name is Accessory-1, phone is 1 800 968 9100 OK here it is from the oringinal post, Hope it works!

I tracked that down too after my original post, and there was a discussion about it sometime back, plus some threads about custom built ones. Now I'd be interested in hearing from someone that has purchased one to get input on whether they are a straightforward installation and work like they are supposed to. There were some questions about instructions and proper fit that never really got answered. I'm just slightly skeptical of ebay items, though I've certainly bought a few, like an 82 300D. Worked out fine but probably wouldn't do it again based on current knowledge.

How do I do that?

That Ebay page works on the original thread, I copy and paste and again it doesn't work. How do I link it too the original thread. Sometimes I get lost!

bring up the post, click on the number in the upper corner of the response that has the link to the item, then copy the link into a post reply box...
