I had to seal off 2 radiator tubes with JB-Weld after a weak engine mount "nicked" my radiator. I plan to replace it before Summer. Is there an upgrade, say from a 400E or 500E that I might use?

BTW: OE Mercedes radiator f/87 300TD has two more cooling tubes (50, I think) than the exact OEM BEHR replacement!!!(48 if I remember correctly). It was only $20 price difference but more tubes if you buy it from the dealer!!!Has anyone counted tubes and thickness of 400E or 500E units? Would they match up in the 124 300D?
