Power Steering Fluid w/Stop Leak--Any Opinions?

What does anyone think about power steering fluid with stop leak in it? I used it with success on my Honda Accord (the pump was leaking). Am tempted to try it on my MB, which has a leaking hose.

The hose that's leaking is the one that's connected to the bottom of the psf reservoir. Probably needs to be replaced regardless.

If it's the one with a regular hose clap, just replace it. It's low pressure and any hydraulic shop should have suitable return tubing.

I wouldn't do it, because the stop leak is going to swell and harden every seal and rubber part in the ps system, including the gearbox.

Thumbs up Works in my F-150......

As someone noted here.....it mainly works on your seals.....I doubt that it will fix a leaking hose......for that you need duct tape!!!!!
