The oil pressure line at the block could be kinked or blocked.

You also have started 3 threads on the same issue. Generally, so as not to waste time and space, we stick with a thread to see a beginning, work accomplished, and then the result. It keeps folks nice enough to try and help you from typing the exact same thing as somebody else over and over.
It also gives a complete picture of the issue for future reference.

Moderator, you have some cutting and pasting to do......

Dude, why do u have to be such a jerk! seriously cant you take a little constructive criticism. also most people her know alot of things about mercedes diesel, you just have to open your eyes and read it and follow threw. and from your vague description, not to mention you starting 3 threads, kinda hard to piece it all together (thanks moderators for doing so) , we have tried to do the best we can without actually being there. if you cant describe something properly, then thats your problem. But how dare you come in here, being a total No0Bie and criticize us saying how we no nothing about Mercedes.

Well, that is oddly appropriate for a person of your demeanor.
I will not lob any insults your way, as bad as it is killing me not to. We would have been more than happy to help, and tried to lead you down a logical path towards a solution based upon your haphazardly typed description.
Now I would go to Craigslist and type in "Honda".
Good luck......

Does the manual idle adjuster knob have an affect on this at all?

Good one.

People today expect the internet to provide free car repair over the modem.

Years ago, you had to pry the information out of a sometimes grouchy shop owner and go to the library and read a book.

A air cooled VW guru once told me the best tools to have in the world were my hands, because they were connected to my brain. Once you understand how a system works, you can fix almost anything, compared to a parts changer who does the shotgun approach to car repair.
