What happened to Carrameow....?

I just noticed that Carrameow's last posts were on December 7, 2006.

I enjoyed reading his exploits on the restoration of his 300D.

Anyone know what happened to him?

I was wondering the same thing. I sent him a PM back in the middle of December and have not heard a word. Is there someone up in hid neck of the woods that might keep in touch with him?

I think he travels with his work, and goes a while sometimes without logging in here.

That was from 2005- someone else had a question about it and revived that thread. His last activity is still 12/7/06. I liked reading those adventures.

I was busy moving to the West Coast

I had a mid life crises and sold my house and changed my job and moved to the West Coast. For awhile belive it or not I wasnt even driving or working on cars--gasp--I was using PUBLIC TRANSPO!!!!

What happened was when i moved I overlooked one minor detail---I forgot to check the price of houses--they cost 4x as much out here and they dont make small ones and I cant afford to pay a half mill for a house--I dont even pay a $1000 for a used car. So now I am living in an apartment.

I had my 300D placed in storage for a while because of the parking conditions at my apartment complex. I mean cars get trashed out here. And I have 3 air compressors, two welders, 5 tool boxes and 3 jacks and ramps and machine tools filling up a bedroom and the living room, I sure hope the maintenance man never comes in here or he will have a seizure...

Recently i have just started to drive the 300D again, but I park it at work for safekeeping...I hope to be back in tools and wrenching in several months

Where did you move to man? Jersey not good enough for you? At least now you are in the land of no rust. Houses out Cal. and houses on LI seem to run fairly close. I don't know about Jersey, but I thought housing there was also quite expensive.

Are you done in Jersey or do you have to make more trips? That is a long way to haul stuff.

Best of luck in your new endeavors. I thought we might meet at a GTG some day but now that is remote.
