If a replacement turbo is too expensive in your country post used turbo wanted in the parts wanted section. Mention that they have to mail it to your country as well. Get some total prices.
Used turbos are not quite a dime a dozen here but total failure is so uncommon .There are some around. There is very little risk in buying a used one as well. Rebuild kits including seals and bearings are pretty cheap as well. Only about twenty five dollars american in someplaces.
On top of that few 123 cars if any are parted out because the turbo is bad. If you have too much trouble getting one resonable drop me a personal message. I will try to help. Or at least we could talk about it. Or perhaps a site member could sell him a spare one? I do not have an extra one at present. If I did I could sell it to him and replace it pretty easily. You can continue to drive your car until it arrives as well. After you repair it you will have a genuine thriller in manilla. Or at least it's going to feel like it. There have been a few posts from your country over the time I have been a member on this site. Best of luck to you.

Thumbs up

Don't wanna sift through three pages, but is the linkage at the firewall adjusted properly?

They can and do slip down to where the fuel rack barely opens. This occured on my SD and the SDL.

I hope after 5 years there has been some sort of resolution.
