Really weird interior light question
Ok well the manual AC knob on my 300D, the light went out. I thought the knob came off,a nd you simply replaced a bulb. I was wrong! The whole section comes out, with the spring loaded brass plunger that contacts the back to provide voltage. Is there any way to replace the bulb, or do I need to find a new knob?

The light harness is behind the cover on the ac unit. There are 4-5 bulbs connected and press fit into the unit. You have to pull the unit to get easy access to the bulbs.

The brass plunger doesn't provide voltage - it keeps the fiberoptic "wire" in it's place. Follow the "wire" to its other end....it probably slipped out of it's socket there. "Spider" is a term that may come to you, when you see the whole thing. Oh...it's behind the A/C controls.
