Vent hose
 
My 300d turbo diesel federal mdl. has a vent hose coming out of the bottom of the air filter housing, where does the other end clamp to?
right now is just going overboard.

on my sd that hose goes to the vent on the top of the valve cover and down to the turbo

Are you talking about this shown by the arrow in the pic provided?

If so, it is the oil drain tube that leads to the oil pan.
