Right about now I'd be asking the webmaster for a screen name change.

It's a snap cover for something- check for leaks, check under hood and under car for something that looks uncovered, etc. Use your powers of deduction re: where you found it in relation to the vehicle to determine where it fell from. However, if a small part falls and bounces it will very likely land somewhere quite a ways from where it originated, especially if it's a lightweight plastic part. I know that I don't know what it is, which isn't saying much, and there is no guarantee that it is even an MB part. Could be from something else entirely. Doesn't look very important however, so if no problems arise, put it in the kitchen drawer and declare victory.

We really need a better picture to help you. The picture you posted is small and out of focus.
Look to see if there is a Mercedes number on it. That would help. If it has one you can call the dealer and ask what comes up on their computer for that number.
Other wise a new picture or follow d.delano's advise. If that doesn't help then I'm with t walgamuth, it's an alien spacecraft.

To me, it looks like a snap on cover for the electrical connection to my door locks on the 1984 300SD. This connection has three wires and a triangular pattern on the pins. This black thing clamps over the connections and holds it together (although pressure holds it together by itself. This black thing then clamps inside the door cavity into a metal hook. But on my car, it would be impossible for this part to fall onto the floor unless the inside door panel was off. I guess it is an electrical connection cover that is located somwhere else on your car. Possibly the engine compartment.
