Lightbulb cold weather starting idea

I am thinking about installing a second battery. I would place it parallel with the original battery. This should increase the cranking amps.

Be sure to use two new batteries of the same size/make/model.

That's not a bad idea if you have the room for it! Just make sure your batteries are the same in size and Cold Cranking Amps and Reserve power.
