Just working and waiting for the call that my car is ready to go again after the botched tint removal that shattered the back glass...

I even tried jacking the car up 1.5ft or so. However far my 6 ton jack goes. Helped but not alot.

I flushed my coolant for about an hour, then refilled with Zerex G-05! rock solid 80C for 400miles, but cannot build up any pressure... I guess I have a leak somewhere...cap?

alright so now ive done a little work. removed sticky fuel level sender and cleaned it. BOY, its a miracle that thing even worked. it was so gunked up with algae that the entire thing looked black. then removed the rear passenger door to find out what went "clunk" everytime i hit a bump. PO had that window shattered out and had it all replaced. they left something loose in there. found a bolt and fixed it. then tinkered around trying to find the cause of a "miss" during intial cranking.which only lasts for 30 seconds or so, and its only on the first crank after sitting for a while. and its not repetative. its changes every time. found a loose green/white vacuum line running from vacuum valve on injector pump to behind brake booster. hope its just a vent line. not sure yet. need to paint the kitchen.

How did that happen? I removed my window tint myself. It was an awful job but at least no broken glass.

I need to do that. I've been tinkering with my guage cluster for a couple days, thinking it was a ground prblem, but after running a 12g wire to the frame harness there, the problem persists. I am determined to get this fixed as I have already run out of fuel twice in the month and a half that ive owned the car.

Point being...

How do I clean the fuel guage sender? Where is it in the tank? Can you please expound on this a little?

Thanks-

not sure if your car is that same as mine, but this helped me.

for my car, it was a 10 minute job total. once i was done, the gauge finally fell below 1/2 (i knew it should be there). it wasnt going below 1/2 for a while now.
